Khatm-e-Nabuwwat

Khatm-e-Nabuwwat (خَتْمِ نُبُوّت) refers to the finality of Prophethood, a fundamental belief in Islam that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is the last and final Messenger of Allah. No prophet will come after him.

This concept is based on clear verses from the Qur'an and numerous Hadiths. One of the most commonly cited verses is:

"Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets."
